How much money can you make as an online dating affiliate?
Is it $50 a week?
or $100 a week?
maybe even $500 a week?
or a $1,000 a week or much more?

Currently I make most of my income online. This includes my singles events businesses (promoted online) and my online dating (residual affiliate income). I stated out with very little internet experience at all in late 1999. Almost right away, I was earning an income online and in early 2000, I got regular cheques from Soulmates World (now sold to Ticketmaster) as I built a strong affiliate business, with sub-affiliates included, managed by me. This was exciting!

I spent hours and hours each week working on my websites at night and day, as I really wanted to succeed. And I listened patiently to every word of advice from those who had trod the path before me. This was a very good investment. As most of this advice has now set me up for regular online income many years later.  I'm very thankful for the learning I got, and for my own research done from my own work on my websites. I now have over 21 websites, and still learn new things after all this time.

Can you do the same?

Sure you can, with a little bit of dedicated action and application, you may even do better. The industry is dynamic and is still growing as acceptance of online dating permeates throughout society. It does require regular work, mostly at the start and then managing after you get things going. But don't kid yourself, you do need to put in time at the start to get an income going. The question you need to ask yourself is; your willingness to work on your business regularly, this maybe as much as 1 hour a day, or maybe more if needed. 


But, just how big is the market?

Worldwide there are many millions of people using online dating. An estimate currently would be well over 100 million people use it world over. In Australia it's about 2 million use online dating with much more room for growth to go. Dating sites in Australia have sold for millions because the cashflow is so huge! Australian firm; Soulmates Technology in April 2002 sold to Ticketmaster (owner of Match.com) for over $43 Million dollars. Not too long ago, RSVP sold to Fairfax Ltd in July 2005, for $38.9 Million dollars. 

Is it easy to get online?
